Weekend!

On Thursday we had girls scout meeting and did face painting it was fun following are a couple of pics on that before I go into what happened over the weekend. Purity. . Makayla. . . Serenity.

Well what can I say the weekend went by way to fast. The girls and I cleaned house Saturday morning, then watched movies and played games in the evening. It was great spending time with them. We were invited to go to a game night that night but unfortunaetly did not go, my back/hip is still been acting up; although it is healing it is still very tender and I am scared to do to much and through it back out. Anyone who has had back trouble would understand. but the Lord is great and I am on the road to recovery.

On Sunday my brother, Eric cooked the girls and I breakfast, eggs and bacon. To any single mom you know how great it is when someone else cooks or helps pitch in in any way. Thanks Eric! Then the girls got in one of their sweet moods! They started cleaning and doing things without being asked, Yeah WOW huh!! They have really been trying to help me so much lately, knowing that I have been hurting, They make me want to thank the Lord more and more everyday for blessing me so much with them.

Then we got ready for church, went and picked up some friends to go, and went and had a great service. The youth are still so very fired up, and full of passion. I thank God for that, our youth has gone through so much and to see them again happy and thriving in the Lord makes me smile. I really have been worried about that because I want a strong youth group for my kids to go into when they get older, so that they will be spiritually feed and grow deeper in the Lord. I was not seeing that, but now WOW what a start. Thank you Youth Group for inspiring me. Don and Candee what you are doing with the youth is wonderful keep it up help them grow more unified! Anyway the spirit flowed in the service which lately it has been every service, Thank you Lord, I feel that we as a church have finally broken that yoke off our backs that has been weighing us down. I feel so many positive things are going to happen soon . . .

We then came home had supper (meatloaf) and the girls got their clothes out for school, we were getting ready for bed when I got a knock at the door, I had 2 people there wanting hair cuts so I did that and then off to bed right, wrong LOL we were almost asleep when knock knock, My neice was at a friends house and her friend chopped on her hair, WOW it was quite a mess. But Aunt Lucky fixed it up and as long as she styles it the way I showed her no one will ever be able to tell. LOL BEWARE all of you out there of 5 year olds and sissors. Ha Ha .

Anyway we finally got to bed 2 and a half hours late!! So this morning getting up and going was hard, but we managed, still we are tired! How was your weekend.
