Well yesterday the kids went to summer school then we came home and relaxed for awhile and waited until Eric got off of work.
Then we went to the kids grandparents house for a cookout. The kids always enjoy spending time with them. the kids played outside with blocks and play dishes and things with their grandmother, Shelly. Their grandfather, Rex, started talking about sports so that was my cue to leave, haha, Sorry Eric I left him there to listen. (And if any of you know my brother Eric he loves sports about as much as I do LOL) anyway . . .
Sissy found a bat and ball there and asked me to pitch it to her, well Sissy is not the most graceful kid there is, so I was thinking that this would be a difficult thing for her, but. . . .
OH MY !!! WAY TO GO!! SISSY!! Probably 4 out of 5 pitches every time she would hit the ball, it was so fun to find something that she liked so much and was so good at. She really has a good arm on her too she was tossing the ball back and forth like it was just meant to be. . .
I wish I had my camera to show you some picks but. . . .
Purity bless her heart tried to so hard but this is something she is going to have to practice at because it was pretty hard for her, she would swing so close but miss most of the time. . . This was a difficult thing for her because she is usually the one that gets things right away and has to help Serenity understand them. . .well with it being the other way around she had to swallow her pride and try and let her sister help her. . . .
We all had fun anyway. . we then went home and tried to get ahold of Ashton but no answer, I tried to tell her that they just got here that Purity needed to give them a few days to get settled and then she could come over and stay. . .She was not happy about that but understood and we all watched a movie together instead and then went to bed. . . .
Although this was not exactly as we planned today it ended up a good day. . .
Love you all,
Lucky, Purity, and Serenity

Ahh...I hope that Purity wasn't too sad. I know that she was looking so forward to her sweet friend coming over! Rylie enjoyed chatting with her on facebook! ;~)
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Serenity! We love baseball.... Maybe you'll play someday, and we could come watch you.
I hope your camera gets fixed. I know how sad you must be without it. So sorry....
