This is just my own personal thoughts and my girl's thoughts on our new adventure of homeschooling . . . .
Well public school around here starts tomorrow and it feels weird for us this year. This is the first year we are homeschooling and we are going to start on the 24th!! I have been reviewing some of my teacher's manuals and am trying to put together a lesson plan but have no clue what I am doing!! I have been looking through and them though and been trying to see about how much time should be spent on what and how many days a week on each and so forth. . . . . .wow there is alot more to it than I thought LOL! Then I have questions like I know for Missouri laws I have to have 1000 hours and 600 of them have to be on the core subjects but what consists of an hour????? Is it the actual 60 min or is it a lesson?? a unit hour??? What huh? I guess I will figure it out!
Purity says homeschooling is exciting and fun. She is looking forward to going on field trips with her friends though and going to the school for lunch once a week to spend time with her friends.
Sissy does not know what to think yet she is just glad she does not have to go back to school she was my one that did not enjoy it very much. I am hoping to change that and have her enjoy learning!!
We are looking forward to with anticipation and some worry LOL on our months to come . . .

I hope that you have a good experience with homeschooling. Just enjoy your girls... The rest will happen and fall into place. Take some time to just be together and find what works for the three of you. Be flexible.... that is where I struggle, and I am really working on it. I mean after all, having the freedom to be flexible is one of the blessings of homeschooling! Love you guys and I am looking forward to hearing about your first day! :)
