Well Christmas came in a flash, seriously I feel like I no longer turned around from Thanksgiving and it was Christmas! We got a foot and a half of snow for Christmas! Wow whoever dreamed of a white Christmas did a really good job. . . .My brother Bobby though has a big 4 wheel drive SUV and was able to come and get us and take us up to his house for our Christmas dinner with Dad. It was nice (the ride was not I closed my eyes literally! Bob scared the . . . out of me!!) but we got there safe and had a nice time and got home safe too!! but more snow came that night and we were snowed in for 4 days!! Anyway we celebrated the day after Christmas at my house and it was nice to sit back and take all day to do things. We got supper stuff on and then we put Jesus first on our minds! We did a little present game thing that I picked up while we were down in Oklahoma, and it went through the whole nativity scene in a fun kids way. We talked about what the day meant to us and what it meant to the world. We talked about how God came was born for us and then died for us, and talked about what we wanted to do for him . . .It was good then we opened the presents. . . .(kiddos really liked this part LOL) and we ate supper. . .which I had enough for an army because we were supposed to have dinner at my house that night and because of the snow it was only Eric, me and the girls! We had a whole turkey and ham, all the sides and tons of desserts!! LOL we ate the same thing until after the New Year!! Here are a couple of pictures of the girls opening their presents.

I had to put the pic of me with my Betty Boop clock. The girls was real proud of getting this for me. They know that I love Betty Boop and they went to the store with my mom and picked it out with a gift card all by their selves! How sweet!!
Then more and more snow almost everyday ugh. . .snow snow go away please.
It sounds and looks like you guys were able to have a special Christmas together. I am so glad!
ReplyDeleteI loved looking at all of the pictures.
That was SWEET of the girls to get you a clock that they knew that you would love.
