. . .it was a typical day a guess not a whole lot going on work/ school etc. We did decide though as a family we are going to try and plant a garden this weekend. . .well we will see if that happens. .ha ha I really want to I just need to go and price things first.
We all ate supper and decided to go for a drive and then come home and watch a movie together instead of straightening up the house (sometimes you just have to let go of things and be together) so we drove to my friend, Melissa's house, and talked with her for a few minutes as we dropped off some laundry that we had done for her. Then Purity wanted to see where I grew up at so I drove her by the house that I lived in from 3rd to my 9th grade year. I think she was so curious because we were talking last night about my childhood and my neighbors back then. You can really see how times have changed when I was a kid everyone on the block knew each other and helped each other out when needed, now it takes everything I have just to keep peace with our neighbor. I think that is one of the reasons I would like to move back out to the country, then I would not have to worry when my kids were outside playing in the yard, now . . well . .
anyway back to what I was saying we then came home and cuddled up on the couch and watched Wall-E, for anyone who hasn't seen it. it is a cute Disney movie, that kinda scared me. . it made me think that that is the way our world and us as humans could really end up. Wow what an appropriate movie to watch on Earth Day HUH. LOL
Just thought I would add a pic of the girls with Purity's dog "Sparkle"
I liked Wall-E, too! I did find it to be a bit scary, as well. I hope we aren't headed in that direction! ;~)
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you are intentional about the time you spend with your girls. I think you are doing amazing and I am proud of you! You'll have to show us around when we visit...
Love you,
Shirley
I forgot to say that... I like the name *Sparkle*, Purity! Cute dog...
